Purpose: To identify the appropriate focus for the test effort in the current iteration, and to gain agreement on the corresponding objectives and deliverables. Purpose: To verify that the various techniques outlined in the test approach will support the required testing. Purpose: To validate that the build is stable enough for detailed test and evaluation effort to commence. Purpose: To achieve appropriate breadth and depth of the test effort to sufficiently evaluate the Target Test Items. Purpose: To deliver a useful evaluation result to the stakeholders of the test effort. Purpose: To prepare the test assets for use in the next test cycle.
